MOON GANG flips the paradigm on the travel experience. Our feverish obsession with Indonesian music and culture forged a distinctive creative alchemy. We took design cues from the hypnotic blend of rare groove and steamy disco found in long-lost Indonesian City Pop records; and spun them right round baby right round.

We traversed the cosmos and together we’ve radically reimagined a genre blending space like no other. WHY JUST HAVE A DAY SPA, WHEN YOU CAN ALSO HAVE A NIGHT SPA. WE TURNED THE VOLUME UP WITH COLOUR AND ENERGY, AND EVERY ROOM IS A SOUNDTRACK OF ITS OWN.

Our philosophy is to co-create with the local community and build sustainable practices whilst having unapologetic fun. playing homage to ancient, modern and future rituals, and curiously foraging along the way.

Nongkrong, is one of our favourite Indonesian words which loosely translates to a place that has no sense of time whilst hanging out.
